1. Nature of the Service and Data

"Escape climate" provides data and interactive maps intended to visualize climate projections and potential environmental hazards.

• Strictly Predictions: The data shown are strictly predictions and risk assessments based on current scientific knowledge and generalized datasets.
• No Guarantees: We provide this information on an "as is" and "as available" basis. There is absolutely no guarantee of completeness, timeliness, or scientific accuracy.

2. Disclaimer of Liability (Not for Life Decisions)

The information provided on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. The data should not be used to make life decisions, financial investments, real estate purchases, or relocation choices. Users actively filtering countries based on climate projections must independently verify all conditions before taking real-world action. MEDIA DISTRIBUTIONS PTE. LTD. shall not be held liable for any personal, financial, or property damages resulting from decisions made based on the content of this website.

3. Third-Party Services

We may provide links to external websites and third-party relocation tools (such as moving logistics, financial services, and travel insurance). We do not control these third-party services, make no warranties regarding their quality or safety, and accept no liability for your interactions with them.

4. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

5. Paid Digital Dossiers and Access

We offer in-depth, downloadable Country Climate Dossiers for purchase.

• Access & Updates: Purchasing a dossier grants you a one-time snapshot of the current 20, 50, and 100-year climate risk profile, along with 12 months of access to any data updates or newly published intelligence affecting that country.
• Non-Recurring: This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. After 12 months, your access remains frozen at the last generated version unless you choose to renew.
• Usage: These dossiers are for personal use only. You may not distribute, resell, or scrape the proprietary data contained within them.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Merchant of Record

• Merchant of Record: All purchases, voluntary financial contributions, and recurring monthly supporter subscriptions are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal merchant and contracting party for all customer transactions, handling order fulfillment, billing, and indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, and sales tax).
• Billing and Renewal: If you choose a recurring monthly support tier, your payment method will be billed automatically on a recurring monthly cycle until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time using the link provided in your Paddle email receipt or by emailing inquiry@mediadistributions.com. Cancellation stops future billing cycles; partial months are not prorated.
• Refunds: All transactions are subject to our Refund Policy.
