Two Przewalski's horse foals were born in late August at a reintroduction center in Kazakhstan, marking the first wild births on Kazakh soil in more than 200 years. The male foals are part of an ongoing effort to restore this critically endangered species.

Przewalski’s horses once roamed freely across Central Asia but faced extinction due to hunting and habitat loss. The reintroduction program aims to reestablish a self-sustaining population in their natural habitat, enhancing biodiversity and ecological balance.
